Welcome!
We’re so glad you're considering joining us at the 2026 Erdheim-Chester Disease Global Conference in Birmingham, Alabama. This annual event is at the heart of our mission—to support, educate, and connect the global ECD community.
Thanks to a generous gift from the family of longtime board member Glenn Padnick, we are able to offer limited travel assistance through the Glenn Padnick Memorial Travel Fund for the 2026 gathering. This fund honors Glenn’s legacy of compassion and advocacy by helping members of the ECD community attend the conference who may not otherwise be able to due to financial hardship.
We are especially committed to assisting those who have never attended the conference before, as well as those with demonstrated financial need. Because our resources are limited, we also consider travel cost and proximity—with the goal of supporting as many people as possible. For example, in some cases, we may be able to provide partial assistance to several individuals with lower travel costs instead of full support for one high-cost trip. That said, please don’t hesitate to apply—whether you’re coming from near or far. We want to understand your circumstances and do our best to help.
We ask that you complete the form below with honesty and detail. All information will be kept confidential and used only for the purpose of evaluating aid requests.
🗓️ Application Deadline: February 1, 2026
📣 Award Notifications: By March 1, 2026
